Presenting the Mindfullness-Based Stress Reduction program to rediscover the harmony of Living”

Monday 13 February, from 20.00 to 21.30, at Borgo Basino

There are moments in life when the clouds of stress obscure our lucidity, our strength and the courage to deal with situations. We feel confused, isolated, at the mercy of chaos and a profound sense of crisis. It is precisely in these moments that it becomes important to recognize one’s tendencies, reactions and emotions that often lead us to avoid unpleasant sensations, creating an imbalance in our experience, leading us to act clumsily and thus triggering a chain reaction that feeds suffering.

The MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION ( #MBSR ) program is an experiential learning path that promotes self-knowledge and helps to recognize stress factors, to grasp our inner conditioning to open us up to a more integrated vision of life in all its aspects to promote greater well-being. It was born in the 1970s within the UMass University of Medicine (University of Massachusetts – USA). It is aimed at all those who feel that the weight of stress weakens their quality of life or who are experiencing or have faced painful or stressful events, or simply who want to find a greater harmony of life.

The MBSR program is an experiential journey of 8 weeks and 9 sessions, during which you learn ways to cultivate awareness, to get in touch with experience in the present moment and learn to respond – rather than to react in a habitual way – to situations of daily life. Although the MBSR program is not therapy, it has been widely demonstrated through scientific research that it has valid psychic and physical effects that contribute to a greater quality and fullness of life.

To learn more about the contents and methods of participation in the MBSR program starting on Tuesday 7 March at Borgo Basino, you can participate in the free presentation on Monday 13 February, at 20.00, at Borgo Basino, Civitella di Romagna, loc. Cusercoli (FC). You can reserve your place by writing to Chiara Nalin
