The cherries are finally ripe here. Â Even though they’re a little waterlogged from all the rain, the ones at our place, which are the tart cooking variety, are quite nice. Â I’ve been picking, sorting and pitting them. Â While I’m slightly embarrassed by the way the first finished tart looked, the process was fun and the flavor was excellent. Â
