Step 1: Rototill to break up sod and weeds
Step 2: Collect branches (from dead elms) and manure
Step 3: Dig in bed, place branches to hold in moisture as they decay
Step 4: Spread manure over branches to add nutrients
Step 5: Bury branches and double dig over
Step 6: Prepare and rake out seed bed
Step 7: Planting! This bed will be for early salad greens
